in your community!
A small-but-mighty Canadian non-profit who works towards one big goal — to change how the world sees, acts, and thinks about masculinity.
Next Gen Men has developed a program to help middle school boys challenge the status quo.

In Dec. 2023, with the support of Women and Gender Equality Canada and the Government of Canada, the Victoria Faulkner Women’s Centre and Les EssentiElles launched a 3-year, promising practice, in the Yukon!
Together with community members, we are adapting Next Gen Men’s program (for boys and non-binary folks aged 13-16) to meet the needs of Yukoners and the unique communities up here.
Trained mentors will eventually facilitate Boys Groups hosted by schools, community organizations, First Nations, or other groups .
Currently adults are taking free mentorship training from Next Gen Men (both online and in-person). Our hope is that:
Some participants will go on to help facilitate Boys Groups across the Yukon (in teams of 2 facilitators)
All participants will bring the learnings back to their communities and integrate them into their jobs/volunteer roles/community and family roles.
We are recruiting community organisations/partners who would like to host a boys group in their space (ex. schools, community/youth centres).
Are you a part of a school, community organisation, or other group? Would you like to see boys in yoru community have the opportunity to grow in a Boys Group? We need spaces to host NGM Boys groups starting in Fall 2024!
